Stunning Enamelled Sterling Silver Pendant

This STUNNING pendant has just stumped me. I would love to regale you with stories of its past and origins, storied artists and techniques. Sadly, I can't do that.
There is only one identifying mark and it states that the piece is made of Sterling Silver (tested and confirmed). I'm not a jewelry fanatic, but I can admit beauty when I see it. The detail and artistry on this piece is just gorgeous. The colours seem to meld into each other and the flexibility of the piece give it an element of movement. The detail is spectacular, almost bordering on cloisonne enamel methods, whereby enamel fills channels carved or shaped from precious metal. Here, you can see the hand-braiding that shows the form of the leaves. The enamel was applied over those twists to give the impression of a crease running through the middle of each leaf. The dark stippled effect just gives the piece yet more depth.

Luckily, I know the former owner. This gives me a slight lead as to the age and origins. She believes it was of Danish origins, although I can't confirm this. What I do know, however, is that it was purchased sometime in the late-50s or early-60s, making this a beautiful, vintage treasure.
